CPM CPC Calculator: Ad Metrics — iOS app

Effective: 19 September 2026
Last updated: 19 September 2026

CPM CPC Calculator: Ad Metrics (“the app”) is published by Sachin Balaji Paul, trading as AdTagMacros (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it.

The short version. Every calculation you run happens on your device. We never see the numbers you enter, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The app does send anonymous usage and crash statistics to Google Firebase so we can find bugs and see which calculators people actually use.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Sachin Balaji Paul, trading as AdTagMacros, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India, is the data controller for information handled through the app. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What stays on your device

The app is a calculator. The inputs you type — impressions, clicks, spend, revenue, conversions, campaign names or labels, and any saved or recent calculations — are processed locally on your device and stored only in the app’s own storage on that device. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Deleting the app removes this data from your device. We keep no copy of it, so we cannot retrieve it for you if it is lost.

3. What the app collects

The app uses two Google Firebase services: Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. Together they collect the following:

Data What it is Why we collect it
Usage and interaction events Which screens are opened, which calculators are used, sessions and session length, first launch, app version Analytics — to understand which features are worth improving
Device and app information Device model, iOS version, language, country or region, app build number Analytics and diagnostics — to know which devices to test and support
App instance identifier A random identifier Firebase generates for your installation of the app. It is not your name, email, Apple ID, advertising identifier or device serial number, and it resets if you reinstall the app. Analytics — to count sessions without identifying you
Crash and diagnostic data Stack traces, the app state at the moment of a crash, device state such as free memory and orientation Diagnostics — to find and fix crashes
Coarse location derived from IP Country or region level only. Firebase derives this from the IP address of the request and does not store the full IP address for analytics purposes. Analytics — regional usage breakdown

All of this is collected in a form that is not linked to your identity. We do not know who you are, and we make no attempt to link app instance identifiers to a person.

What the app does not collect

  • No name, email address, phone number or postal address
  • No account or password — the app has no sign-in
  • No contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, camera or health data
  • No precise GPS location
  • No advertising identifier (IDFA), and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because the app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites
  • No third-party advertising SDKs — the app is ad-free
  • The contents of your calculations

4. How we use what we collect

  • To fix crashes and correct calculation or interface bugs
  • To see which calculators and features are used, so we know what to build next
  • To understand aggregate performance and stability across iOS versions and devices
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations where we are required to

We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, to target you with ads, or to make automated decisions that affect you. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used under US state privacy laws.

5. Who else processes this data

Google LLC processes analytics and crash data on our behalf through Firebase. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.

Apple Inc. handles app distribution and all purchases. If you buy the LifeTime unlock, Apple processes the transaction. We receive only anonymised, aggregated sales and download reports from Apple — we never see your payment card, Apple ID or billing address. Apple’s handling of your data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so by a valid order from a court or competent authority, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of users.

6. Where data is processed

Firebase processes data on Google’s servers, which may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where data originating in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, Google relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards. We are based in India and may access aggregated reporting from there.

7. How long we keep it

  • Analytics data: retained by Firebase for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Crash reports: retained for up to 90 days from the date of the crash.
  • Data on your device: kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

8. Your choices and rights

Turning collection off

You can stop analytics and crash reporting from leaving your device at any time:

  • On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements and turn off Share With App Developers. This stops Apple-mediated crash and usage sharing.
  • Uninstalling the app stops all collection immediately and resets the app instance identifier.

The app works exactly the same either way — nothing is gated behind analytics.

Rights you may have

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port information about you, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the UK have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Because the data we receive is not linked to your identity, we usually cannot locate a specific person’s records — which also means there is very little about you for us to hold. If you want a request actioned, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

  • Legitimate interests — for crash diagnostics and aggregate product analytics, so the app can be kept stable and useful.
  • Contract — for delivering the app and any in-app purchase you make.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law.

9. Children

The app is a professional tool for advertising and media work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data sent to Firebase travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Data held on your device is protected by iOS’s own app sandbox and device encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the amount of information involved here is deliberately small.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and move the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on the App Store. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
